Bookings for the Centre have increased considerably which is good news. Feedback has been very positive from hirers with comments like "It's ideal for children’s parties" and "We cannot get all our family and friends together at our house".
The work carried out in the garden has been a great asset, creating an outside room, weather permitting. Further work was planned, but unfortunately our Landscape Gardener, Mr. Dave Pickup is no longer able to assist us, but we thank him and his colleague, also Dave, for the work they have already carried out. If you or someone you know would be prepared to assist us with the continuation of the landscaping we would love to hear from you.
New lights have been installed in the centre and what a difference it has made.
The Executive Committee are in the process of renewing the ground lease with Whitbread and have asked for the lease period to be extended, this gives us more scope when applying for grants thus ensuring the continuance of a well used and necessary venue.
Indoor Boot/Table Top Sales
Unfortunately these sales have had to be cancelled until further notice. We would like to thank our regular patrons for their support in the past. Should the situation change we will endeavour to make contact.
The "Flexercise" Classes
These are going from strength to strength, but can still take more members. Contact Lorraine on (01582) 579 531 or just come along and try. GREAT FUN !!
